Description
A garage sale becomes much more entertaining when Muffin’s grumpy-granny game gets involved in selling an old mobility scooter. Her determined role-playing brings comic trouble to an ordinary family outing, with Bluey’s familiar characters close by. This lively story captures the episode’s humour while giving children a recognisable picture of imaginative play, different personalities and the way a small everyday situation can become unexpectedly memorable.
Age suitability and learning: Preschool (3-5), Primary (6-8). The illustrated story suits shared reading with younger children and more independent exploration as reading grows. Following events encourages prediction, sequencing and vocabulary; discussing the characters gives children practice recognising feelings and considering other perspectives.
