Description
A giant robot whale, an alarming pig cannon and a camping trip gone wrong are only part of the trouble facing Bunny and the gang. Monkey’s increasingly ridiculous schemes threaten to turn everyday woodland chaos into something much larger. Jamie Smart fills the adventure with colourful action and visual jokes, giving readers another lively comic story in which friendship and resourcefulness are tested by plans that refuse to stay sensible.
Age suitability and learning: Primary (6-8), Older children (9-12). Comic panels make the action approachable for primary readers and reward older children who enjoy visual humour. Reading words alongside pictures supports sequencing, inference and understanding of dialogue; the characters’ choices invite discussion about friendship, kindness and working together.
