Description
Mole needs his spectacles, and finding them draws his woodland friends into a helpful search. Children can lift the flaps to investigate as the familiar problem unfolds, enjoying the small discoveries along the way. Julia Donaldson’s rhyming words and Axel Scheffler’s friendly illustrations make this a reassuring shared adventure, with cooperation and everyday objects giving young listeners plenty to recognise, name and talk about together.
Age suitability and learning: Baby & toddler (0-2), Preschool (3-5). The interactive pictures make shared reading inviting for children building attention and confidence with books. Looking for clues and joining in supports prediction, vocabulary and story order, while exploring the pages encourages careful hand movements and a sense of participation in the story.
