Description
A little tooth fairy is ready to begin her work, but meeting a crocodile presents a challenge far beyond the usual bedroom visit. Gathering teeth from such a large, toothy creature takes courage, quick thinking and help along the way. Julia Donaldson’s lively rhyme and Lydia Monks’s bright illustrations turn the job into a funny adventure, with an unlikely heroine showing that being small does not mean being powerless.
Age suitability and learning: Preschool (3-5), Primary (6-8). Rhythm and repeated language help younger listeners join in, while primary readers can explore the words and pictures more closely. Reading aloud supports listening, sound awareness and expressive speech; following the story encourages recall and talking about what happens next.
